I was really disappointed. The woman I talked to on the phone was so sweet and she quoted me $40 for 4 adults at the site and any additional adults would be $10 more no big right? Wrong! We get there and have to deal with a woman who clearly hates her job and not the person I talked to on the phone and she says it's $60 or $20 per person (we ended up only 3 people) I told her what I was told over the phone she snapped and said she doesn't know what idiot told me that but she's been there for 9 years and blah blah idk I toned the rest out. So we pay the $60. We brought our boat we were planning on driving to the site emptying out the boat and then parking in overflow we were not allowed to bring our boat in the campground so we unhooked and threw all the stuff on the tailgate. We got back before our 11 pm curfew because apparently we're children then we walked up to the bar. Came back and the nice security guard (or so we thought) offered to start our fire for us yah! Well that wasn't working so when he left we went to the neighbor site fire. He was obviously hurt by us not staying at our campsite and constantly came back to "check up on us" then he "banned" us to our site because my sister had a beer in her hand (she's 20 and we weren't being disruptive) we stayed at the neighbors fire and he came back again and told us we had to go to sleep in our tent
Stayed here and didn't think it was bad at all. I expected a campground not a 5 star hotel. The camping lots are on the small side though. The staff was good, I enjoyed my stay.
They advertised and informed us when setting up reservations there's WiFi at the campground (I needed it for connection to my work email etc). Yes they do, if you go right to the front office. Only one set of bathrooms which we're typically clean but running out of paper products often.
We rented three campsites for a large group and we're told that we'd have electricity and water. We had the hookup for electricity but not every site has water apparently. The one site we had that did have water hook-up the person renting the site next to us had a big 5th wheel trailer they hooked up to it so we had no water. In summary this place is way overpriced for what you get.
Good enough to be close to Silver Lake, well worth it
Awesome place to stay. Usually a younger crowd here. They have a quiet time that they enforce. Pretty reasonable rates too.
